Here's some blogs I've been frequenting lately. Check em out and maybe you will end up frequenting them too!

PROLLY IS NOT PROBABLY: If you ride a bike, enjoy the craftsmanship and look of bikes, or used to ride a bike when you were young, then check out this blog. John Prolly keeps a tight shift on his blog, I don't know many blogs that stay as updated as his. Focusing on track bikes but not limited to, Prolly writes about everything one could write about as far as bikes go. From his blog alone you can watch the evolution of trick track and the bikes that are emerging for it.

TOY BLOGS: There's a few of these I check out on the daily. I guess some people, or maybe most, would think it juvenile and a complete waste to spend lots of money on toys. But I like to say, "Eat my shit" to them. Check out, Vinyl Pulse, Kaiju Chronicle, and TOYSREVIL.

PUNKNEWS.ORG: If you listen to punk, there is a one stop shop for all you need to know. Peep the blog for updates on tours, upcoming albums, album reviews and everything in between.

MONDO: This store gets in limited edition poster prints from various artists creating amazing posters for some of our favorite films. It's a cool blog to just scroll through and see the alternate posters these amazing artists are creating. Some of them are really clever and most of them are way better than the official posters for the film.

That's it for now, Peace kiddies!

The Beginning: Making Episode 1
The Beginning: Making Episode 1

January 09, 2016

It's not a secret that Star Wars Episode 1 is not only a horrible Star Wars movie, it's just a horrible movie in general. Sitting through it is a task, it's so dense and filled with boring political plot points, bad acting and computer graphics. It feels more like an ILM portfolio showcasing CG techniques rather than a film.

I can remember as a kid watching it for the first time and leaving the theater confused. I thought maybe I wasn't watching as careful as I should have been? I dunno what it was but I felt like I missed something because, its Star Wars, isn't it supposed to be good? I thought, "Did I just black out for most of that movie? Was I daydreaming the whole time?" I begged my parents to take me again, so I could see what I surely missed but they wouldn't take me. I had to wait for it to come out on video when I finally realized that it wasn't just me, this shit really does just suck.
